Gianna Horne
I am a sophomore pre-nursing major. I love how this club brings together passionate students to make a real impact in our community. Whether we’re organizing events or volunteering hands-on, every effort makes a difference! When I’m not in class, you can find me practicing yoga, trying new coffee shops, or spending time by the water. I can’t wait for another amazing year of giving back and growing together!

Meadow Leisen
I am a senior double majoring in Biology and Spanish. In my free time you can find me reading, spending time with my loved ones, watching cheesy romance movies, or trying new restaurants! Since joining CFAC, I have loved the sense of community it has given me and the variety of opportunities the club has to give back! From baking cookies at Ronald McDonald to organizing diaper dashes at Babies and Beyond, there are so many ways you can make a difference in the lives of those around you:)

Grace Panek
I’m a junior in the nursing school. In my free time I love trying new restaurants, shopping, and being with friends and family! I joined CFAC right away as a freshman and have loved every moment of it! My favorite event is the birthday boxes! It’s a great activity that brings the club together to work on something special for a less fortunate child.

Maddy Mudra
I am a senior majoring in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. In my spare time I love going to concerts, being by the lake, and traveling to new places. So far I have loved being in CFAC and meeting the amazing people in it. My favorite event has been the holiday gift drive. This organization has given me a fun and easy way to engage with families in my community and give back to those around me.

Kaitlyn Knutson
I am a junior studying Biology with certificates in global health and health policy. In my free time I love to read and bake, as well as be outdoors doing things like kayaking or hiking! I am so excited to join the CFAC eboard as the VP of Development and Engagement! I love the amazing opportunities through CFAC to be involved in the community and make a difference in kids’ and families’ lives.

I am a junior here at UW-Madison studying Elementary Education. In my free time, I love going on walks, hiking, hanging out with my friends, trying new foods, and listening to podcasts. I have been a member of CFAC for a year and a half, and I adore this organization! My favorite event is the Holiday Toy Drive; I love that we help make the holidays a little extra special for families in the community!

Hi! My name is Emerson and I’m a sophomore majoring in Psychology and International Studies with a certificate in Education Policy Studies. In my free time, I love trying new coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I love CFAC and the support it provides for local families, and I’m so excited for what the future holds for this organization!

I am a Junior at UW-Madison pursuing a degree in Nursing. I have been the secretary of Care for a Cause since Fall 2025. I enjoy being a part of the CFAC leadership team due to the direct impact we have on the community. All the members of our club are passionate about helping those in need and I love working alongside these people.

Hi! My name is Paige and I am a junior here at UW-Madison studying Accounting. I enjoy working out, drinking coffee, watching movies with my roommates, and spending time with family. I love Care for a Cause because it has given me the chance to collaborate with others for positive change in the young Madison community.

Hi! My name is Emma and I am a junior majoring in Kinesiology with a certificate in Promoting Activities for Diverse Abilities. In my free time I enjoy trying new brunch spots, hiking, and watching just about any reality tv show. I love how CFAC is able to build a community around local families who need it. We are able to have so much fun together while making a difference!

Hi! My name is Chloe and I am the VP of Publicity for CFAC! I am currently a senior at UW-Madison majoring in global health with plans to get my master's in nursing at Marquette next year. In my free time, I like to read, spend time with friends, and try new coffee shops! I enjoy being a part of CFAC because I like knowing that I am making a difference within my own community. My favorite activity is wrapping presents after our Christmas gift drive!

Hi! My name is Candace and I’m a junior studying elementary education and education policy studies. I love being CFAC’s VP of Volunteer Education! Outside of school, I love to play soccer, rock climb, and bake. I joined CFAC my freshman year, and I am so grateful to be a part of it! Everyone I have met through the organization is so kind, and it is incredibly rewarding to have the opportunity to support local families in Madison.

Hi, my name is Lily, and I am a junior majoring in Elementary Education. I am super excited to be a part of the care for a cause exec-board this year! I love the countless opportunities to get involved in our community, and support families and youth in need. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, and trying new restaurants.
E-Board Applications
If you are interested in joining the executive board, we open applications later in the fall semester and interviews are done over winter break. If selected for a position, you will be trained by the existing board member during the spring semester!
